Student pharmacists and faculty exhibit high levels of stress, independent the current coronavirus 2019 pandemic, their path toward wellness, including a reduction in stress anxiety, is utmost importance. Yoga meditation are proven interventions to reduce anxiety increase wellness. Yin yoga an adaptable, quiet practice ideal for those lacking previous experience, flexibility, time.To evaluate impact 6-week yin intervention on College Pharmacy students’ perception, levels, mindfulness skills.Faculty students participated pilot program comprising once-weekly class followed by guided meditation. was selected its meditative style. Participants completed pre- postquestionnaire at 6 weeks 3 months potential changes perceived scores, skills. The questionnaire composed self-reporting tools: Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI), Perceived Stress Scale, Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire.Twenty participants, 12 8 (ages 18-66 years), study. scores decreased, increased weeks, months, with all reaching statistical significance. No participants reported being “high” category after using BAI categorical data, although this finding not statistically significant.Faculty demonstrated program. Outcomes suggest that inclusion practice, which may easily be replicated home, as little once per week long term. Creating culture wellness should priority Colleges Pharmacy.
